Merle Palmiste’s feature film debut was in the role Evelin, the historical action-drama Juri Rumm. It was directed by Jaan Kolberg and is based on the life Rummu Juri, an Estonian brigand. The role of Grey One was then followed in 2001’s romantic drama Karu Suda, which Arvo Iho directed. She starred as Rutt in Juri Sillart’s 2006 Taska Film-directed and Hans Luik-penned melodrama Kuldrannake.
